The Gardens Casino

The Hawaiian Gardens Casino opened its new and expanded $90 million dollar facility in 2016. The new facility increased from 59,000 sq. ft. to over 200,000 sq. ft. with an enlarged gaming space, a new kitchen and restaurant, and an upstairs banquet and tournament hall. The Gardens offers new VIP experiences throughout. The upscale look and finish was aided in part by unique thematic features both inside and out.

Theme Construction Features at The Garden Casino

The most obvious theme addition is visible as you enter the facility. A 25’ tall volcano feature, complete with a volcanic eruption show sequence, greets Garden’s patrons with a “lava” light show, rumbling and steaming sequence that puts them front and center of the eruption. Translucent FRP panels and thousands of LED smart lights are controlled to create the effect, while a premium sound and fog system enhances the experience.

The entry foyer boasts a vanishing edge water fountain with sand and shell textures that resemble the beaches of Hawaii, while two rippling water walls provide bookends to the stairs and escalators to the second floor. The rippling effect on the walls was created by our 5-axis CNC machine and then a hard coat was applied with tnemec paint to symbolize the tropical ocean waters.
