Theme Construction
Since 1957, COST has pioneered building the most imaginative, entertaining, and immersive environments in the theme park industry. Disney, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Six Flags, and many other theme parks have worked closely with COST to deliver once-in-a-lifetime experiences to their park patrons. These high-profile projects are not only recognized by the general public, but also by the industry awards and recognition these projects have received.
The theme park industry is always on the cutting edge of technology and, as active members in the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (IAAPA) since 1982, and the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) since 1997, our multi-disciplinary staff keeps pace with all the latest creative trends in the industry. However, creativity is only half of the theme park construction equation; developing these themes within the respective budget is the second half. Having a thorough understanding of material uses, strengths, and limitations enables us to provide a solid thematic environment within any realistic budget.
COST’s success starts by working closely with theme park owners, designers, architects, and other contractors to deliver authentic, entertaining, and cost-effective thematic construction. Staffed designers, drafters, model builders, estimators, project managers, and many others work closely with the theme park team on all facets of a project. Our thorough understanding of custom-designed theme park construction allows us to produce scenes, sets, and sculptures in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
